Dr. Vijay H. Vaishnav is a M. D. in homeopathy. He has been on the faculty of Smt. CMP Homeopathic Medical College, Bombay, India, for almost 25 years, where he is currently the Professor and former Head of the Department of Materia Medica. Dr. Vijay Vaishnav is also a Hon. Physician at Shree Mumbadevi Homeopathic Hospital, which is a teaching hospital attached to the college. He is also a guide, paper setter and examiner for Post Graduate (MD) students at the Maharashtra University of Health Sciences, Nashik, Maharashtra, India.

 Dr. Vaishnav is intricately involved in bringing Homeopathy to the masses and has been invited to lecture at several prestigious institution within India, The United Kingdom and The United States of America.

Experience
Dr, Vaishnav is on the panel to set the contents of the examination papers and is also an examiner in Materia Medica, Medicine and Surgery for the Universities of Bombay, Amravati, Bihar and Nagpur and the Maharashtra Council of Homeopathy. He has been closely associated in developing new concepts in teaching Materia Medica and has prepared a unique model of approach to the study of Homeopathic Therapeutics. He has served on the Editorial Board of the Indian Journal of Homeopathic Medicine.

In July 2004, Dr Vaishnav had a five day advanced seminar at Vienna, Austria organized by the Studentinnen Initiative Homöopathie for homoeopathic students and doctors. He has been invited to lecture to members of the Bombay Ophthalmic Association on the “Role of Homoeopathy in Ophthalmology” where he presented many cured cases of uveitis and vitreitis. He was a resource person for a re-orientation program for teachers on “Homoeopathy and Pediatrics”. This was sponsored by the Govt. of India’s Ministry of Health and Family Welfare.
